Release 4.2 provides the new login method of tapping an NFC card/tag to the device for easy login, the launch of Waizu’s Application Programming Interface, the ability to show a customer logo on Kiosk, and Velocity integration.

Near Field Communication (NFC) Login

NFC Login means the process of issuing a device is more seamless and faster than manually inputting a PIN.

It also brings the benefit of using an existing keycards and business processes including ID systems, meaning users do not need to issue another set of credentials for employees to remember.

Application Programming Interface (API) launch

Waizu APIs integrate with existing workflows for employee management. This may be new starter or leaver processes or deeper integration into access control. This reduces complexity and removes the need to manage identity separately.

Customer Logo on Kiosk

The Customer Logo on the kiosk allows for branding and bespoke customization of the devices.

Velocity Integration

With this new feature, the employee's Velocity session will end when the user logs out of Waizu. This removes the need for a timeout on the Velocity Server.  Another benefit is assurance the user’s session is only active when they are. There is no risk of short time-outs.
